What happens after I have place an order?

When you place an order with us on-line we will send you a confirmation by e mail within 24 to 48 hours of your order. During this time we will pick your items and send you a pro-forma invoice with the amount due by you. After receiving the full payment by your chosen method, we will send another e-mail confirming it has been posted so you will know when to expect delivery. If we do not send you an e mail within 3 working days of placing the order then they may have been a failure in the system.

Your order and customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to us and we kindly ask to e-mail us directly, and we will deal with your order as a very urgent case. We do not accept any responsibility for unaccounted for technical failures whilst orders are in transmission.

What types of Delivery do you offer?

Lizmar Books sends all local books through the South African Post Office(SAPO) - Ordinary post with tracking number (R54.00 per book or a flat rate of R98.00) or Speed Services - (Post office) @ R100.00 for packages weighing less than 1 Kilogram. You are welcome to appoint your own courier service, should you prefer. Though the account and arrangements will have to be paid and made by the client. We do use Postnet-to-Postnet specials(Please arrange when order is placed). For international packages we use International Courier Services. If you have any special delivery request please make prior arrangements with our sales team.

If the item is in stock then we will despatch the item immediately or at the very latest 48 hours after receiving your order and payment. If however, the item is not in stock we will e-mail the purchaser directly advising them of the possible delivery time and the option to cancel their order. We will always do our best to ensure an order is fulfilled on time. If you don't receive your order after 7-10 Working days after receiving our tracking no, please contact South African Post Office 0860111502. Please take note that we are not liable for parcel lost through the post office. If you would like them insured or registered, extra will need to be paid. 

Please note that our normal hours are 09h30 - 17h30, Monday to Friday. As we all know, these days items do get lost in the post occasionally but if you want your item(s) insured, we can claim the costs back once S.A.Postal Services, agree that the item has gone missing in the post.

Returns Policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase then we are more than happy to exchange or refund the cost of the item or items which are returned to us within seven days. The items must be returned to us in an original and unworn condition and in the original packaging in which they were sent to you or simular packaging. Ensuring to seal it well, and return the package to our address. It is not necessary to return the package by Speed Services, but we cannot recommend strongly enough that you should obtain a proof of postage receipt from the Post Office. We do not accept any responsibility for parcels lost in transit.

Items and books returned to us that arrive damaged, or lost will not be credited. Items damaged whilst in transit to you can not be replaced. Please inform us of any breakage or damage within three working days of receipt of your order.

Shipping and handling charges, on returns are not refundable. Refunds will only be made in the method the goods were originally paid for. However, please note, this doesn't apply to any goods on promotion. Returns only applicable on normal priced items.
